All beads offered for sale are hand made by me from glass, and occasionally small elements of metal, for example copper cutouts or silver wire.  The nature of lampwork beads means each one is individual and subject to a little variation. All beads are cleaned of residue and inspected to ensure they are right.  However, they are made of glass and although kiln annealed for strength and durability, rough or inappropriate treatment can cause them to chip or crack. If this should happen, they should not be used. They are unsuitable for young children to play with.
